So I just bottled my first all grain, I have only done partial mash before this. I must say WOW!! What a flavor difference from extract!! OK so I had a few trubby tasters, I was pretty pleased with the outcome!

I actually upgraded my whole process;
New Keggle, counterflow wort chiller, new mash tun, temp controlled fermentation chamber. I am really happy with the way things turned out. Cant wait for the next brew...:ban:

yup. deathbrewer's BIAB pictorial how-to is where it's at. sooooooo easy and so much cheaper than extract brews and partials. AND you get better beer out of it too!

Seven also has a really nice thread on BIAB, on a slightly bigger scale than DB's.

it's fantastic that we got the oldtimers to teach us noobs what it is and how it do ;)

Have you looked at BIAB? $5 worth of equipment and you're good to go. Little more like a shuffle than a leap.

Oh yeah, I've done a couple BIAB brews. Mostly partial mash because I only have a 5 gallon pot. All I need is a 10 gallon pot and a turkey fryer, and I'm ready for AG (I priced it out to around $90 for the two pieces).

But yeah, in the meantime I've been doing extract and occasional partial mash BIAB. I could probably swing an AG 3 gallon BIAB with my current pot, but I haven't done that yet.
