Just brewed my first AG today using BIAB. I missed my gravity by 1 point which is way better than I could have expected. It's going to be a holiday beer. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone in here for all the great tips!

That's great- you're off to a flying start! I can remember how I sweated hitting the correct gravity on my first batch, and how magical it seemed when I did. Welcome to the world of AG.

1.064 instead of 1.063. Now we'll see how fermentation goes. Pitched a 1L starter.

Seems like you hit a pinch higher than expected efficiency, good work :mug:

I'm starting AG soon as well, just have to order my mash tun. I have two more extract brews I am planning on then it's my first AG.
