Finally enjoying a bottle of my first all grain citra/cascade hopped ipa. Simply awesome. Been doing extract/partial grain for the past year and truly love what I created here. I don't post much on these threads, but read them often and they were a HUGE help in learning.

lol that was my first thought actually. wish I had more. on the bright side, I have two other beers getting ready to be bottled. the 1 gal was fun and a good way to get into full grain.

the taste is actually very good. my abv is only 4.1. I have made some changes in the ones getting bottled this Saturday and they should be around 5.5-6.0. decent balance, but hop heavy. used 1.5 for my boil. used 1.5 gal water boiled down to just under 1gal. but good body, and the citrus and grapefruit flav. of the citra is coming through.

I made a Belgium ipa which I am really looking forward to trying. the bittering hop for that was magnum, and flav. hop was citra. so should be interesting......
