I did my first all-grain batch this weekend (actually we did 2 in one day!) and everything went great. There were a couple of bumps in the road - temp and volume issues - but nothing we weren't able to fix. There's a porter and an ipa burbling and gurgling away in the dining room!

Thanks to everyone on this board - what a great help it has been getting to this point!

Thanks - and cheers!

Congratulations! Take good notes and in a few more brewdays, you'll have your process all worked out. Here's to a good strong fermentation!

Wow! Two in one day. If you did them both on the same system that must have been one long brew day. Nice job. As to the bumps in the road, pretty much the efficiency, the water volumes, and the process flow are bumps you hit when you are new, but they all come together after you've got a couple sessions under your belt.

Congratulations! Sounds like it was a huge success. Let us know how the beers turn out!
