THis is my first time attempting a step infusion and had a couple of questions regarding the technique.

I listened to cybi show with the brewmaster and he said they let is rest at 145* for 60 min and then bring it up to 155* for 15 min.

Does this sound right so far? Am I gonna get my conversion at this temp?

Also, how much water am I using for this process?

1qt/lb of grains for first step? Then how much water for second rest?

I am doing a ten gallon batch and I am using the home depot water cooler as my mlt.

I may be over thinking this and I am seriously debating just doing a single infusion.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
