Hey there just wondering why on the backs of beer kits they say it will be ready to bottle in 5 to 7 days when i made my first batch it took 15 days in the primary before it was ready to bottle whats up with that?

Would you have even tried Home Brewing it the label on the back of the kit said "ready in 4-6 weeks"?

Most people wouldn't

Yes,
you could have had that ready in 5-7 days but it would have not tasted as it does now.

The label on the back of the kits are written for a perfect scenario when brewing, and through our experiences in life, we all have learned that not many things turn out to be perfect.

Congrats on your First Beer!!!!!

and Welcome to HBT !

Thanks mate

actually its all about the beer recipe, if you look at my post labeled most impatient brewer ever, i just bottled my first beer after 10 days, and i could have bottled it a little earlier even, and after 2 days in bottle it was carbed enough to be drinkable. Surprisingly drinkable. WAY to drinkable LOL.
