Just transferred from primary to secondary (keg). I didn't check the gravity (like a fool) until after I transferred. I'm at 20 gu's on one keg and 13 gu's on another. My target is 8 gu's!! It's a pale and supposed to be relatively hoppy, but all I can taste is the sweetness of the unfermented sugars. Anything I can do to fix this or am I doomed to 10 gallons of sweet beer?? Help!

How long did you primary before racking. Is the secondary (keg) in cold storage or at fermentation temps. Is it under pressure for carbing.

I just racked like 15 min ago. I'm almost thinking I should re-rack into the carboys and back on top of the yeast cake, or pitch more yeast in the keg??

The more you rack, the more oxidation you risk. You could just leave it in the keg to finish. There is probably enough yeast in suspension to finish it. Mine stay in primary 21 days, I doubt you can finish primary in 10 days on some beers. Also, the keg will build pressure if fermentation continues, so you may want to put a gas-in quick connect on the post and cover it with some foil for pressure relief. Also leave at 70 and check in a couple weeks.

Ya, I usually wait 3 weeks too. This recipe called out for 10 days primary, 10 days secondary. Should have just gone with what I normally do. I'll put the disconnect on. Thanks.
