SWMBO and I finally settled on the new house yesterday, and we're getting used to the idea of living in SW Texas. Actually, we're really excited! The kitchen is REALLY big, the master suite/bath is well done, and its got a 3+ car garage to house all of my crazy projects.

There is one little area that needs a bit of work. The previous owners poured a 12'x12' slab in the back corner of the lot and never got around to building anything on it. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?!?!

I'm celebrating with what's sitting on the front of the slab - Brewtopia's Grapes of Wrath and a very nice cigar. Tasting notes to follow.

Very nice. And yes, I'd be thinking exactly what you are thinking.
Congrats on the new house.

Hell Rio,, LMFAO.. Dude its pretty nice down there, I like it at least. Congrates on the new house.

Yuri, let me know when your up for a brew meeting!!!! Or whatever. I'm only 5 hours away LOL

But seriously, if your in Dyess for more then a day, PM ASAPY

I'd build it out and get a really nice system in there. You should see what it would take to run natural gas and water to it. :)

THAT LOOKS GREAT.
OK, I'm thinking strip-pole, and a jacuzzi. No wait your married so a nice little brew house would be a good compromise given my first option.
Knowing you, it will be the most tricked out 12'x12' space ever.
If that is the back corner, your lot is HUGE by standards here, I think that goes back to "Welcome to Texas".
Really hope you love your new place and you make it a home to remember.

Congrats. I dream of a three-car garage often.

Could could build a hella-awesome look-out tower on that slab! Drink beer and watch over the neighborhood!

Make the pad bigger before you build a brewhaus? :D

Only you would buy property that begs for a brewhouse project.
The empty slab was definitely a bonus, but the price, size, fairly recent construction, location, kitchen, and big garage were what sold the house.

I'm shooting for starting the brew hut on Labor Day weekend. We need to get settled first, and the dog needs a fence before I'm allowed to work on anything else.
