This may be common knowledge, but I thought I would share anyway. I had a beer that I had a lot of trouble with sediment and hop trub in primary. I read a few things on filtering by using cheesecloth over my racking cane, when racking it to the bottling bucket. I had a thought about trying a paint strainer bag instead. Rather than put it over the racking cane, I put it on the bottling bucket. When I was done racking, I pulled it out and there was practically no sediment in the beer. The bag reached the bottom of the bucket so I wasn't concerned about oxidation.

Interesting.... did you sanitize the bag some how before hand? Sounds worthy of a try.
