Filtering during transfer to secondary

I will be transferring a pumpkin ale to a secondary fermentor this weekend. I want this to come out fairly clear, so I'd like to filter the beer during the transfer to the secondary.

How do you guys and gals filter during the transfer?

To filter out I find the easiest is to place a hop bag, nylons or a paint strainer bag over the end of the racking cane works really well, just be sure to sanitize it first.
