Hello
So Im new to the whole home brewing and had a couple of questions. The beer (english pale ale) has been fermenting for 13 days now and I was planning to bottle it tomorrow. I of course forgot to check the OG but two days ago I checked the FG and it was 1.010, if its still the same tomorrow can I bottle it? I ask because Im still getting co2 bubbles every couple of minutes and I can see the yeast churning. I did the primary for a week, then secondary. The kit is a Brewers Best with dry yeast, the temp has been 68-72.

thanks for the help
Jason

If the yeast is still churning, do not touch it. Give it 5 more days and check it again. Any additional time you can give it right now will only make for better beer.

Just let it ride till it finishes and hope it doesn't get much lower than where it is now. 1.010 is pretty low already for an english-style pale ale. Have you tasted it yet? if so, how does it seem?

It seems to taste ok to me. Is churning the correct term, I see about a dozen little clumps of yeast slowly raising and sinking. Its still pretty cloudy.

thanks

Sounds like it's finishing up to me. The activity you're seeing could also be due to a bit of carbonation swirling things a bit. Give it a couple more days. I gave my 1st brew 12 days in primary,& it cleared to a slight haze.
