This is my first attempt at formulating a recipe. I have 7oz (dried) of hops that I grew this year that I want to use for aroma/flavor in this beer. I also have a little left over Galaxy for flavor/bittering. The IBUs as calculated by beersmith come out where I want them but I'm hoping some of you experienced folks out there can let me know if this will come out as a muddled mess of hop flavor. Thanks in advance!

9 lbs Golden Promise (Simpsons) (2.0 SRM) Grain 1 90.0 %
8.0 oz Caramel/Crystal Malt - 20L (20.0 SRM) Grain 2 5.0 %
8.0 oz White Wheat Malt (2.4 SRM) Grain 3 5.0 %

0.50 Items Whirlfloc Tablet (Boil 15.0 mins) Fining 4 -

0.65 oz Galaxy [14.00 %] - Boil 10.0 min Hop 5 12.1 IBUs
2.50 oz Centennial [10.00 %] - Boil 5.0 min Hop 6 16.6 IBUs
1.00 oz Willamette [5.50 %] - Boil 5.0 min Hop 7 3.7 IBUs
3.50 oz Cascade [5.50 %] - Steep/Whirlpool 5.0 min Hop 8 6.4 IBUs

1.0 pkg California Ale (White Labs #WLP001) [35.49 ml] Yeast 9 -

I should add that I don't do a real whirlpool but put in 5 minutes to account for time that the beer will still be hot between adding the cascade at flameout and when the immersion chiller will get the beer down to temps where IBUs will no longer be extracted.
