For a project I'm making a on tap vodka dispenser. Don't ask lol. Basically I want a clear cylinder full of vodka, with a hose going down the bottom, with a beer faucet on the end. Since the cylinder is higher up the gravity would be the force pushing it out. Basically like those 5 gallon drink coolers. Would I just get a basic beer faucet? I read something about shanks?

huh? you should make something similar to or buy a beertube. or use a one gallon ice tea jar with spigot??

Is the vodka going to be dispensed from the front of a refrigerator door like a kegerator? Then you will need a shank, beer line, and the faucet. The faucet connects to the shank, shank goes through the door, beer line connects to shank.

If not, then i'm not quite sure what you're talking about.

Actually new idea. I want to have like a bottle dispenser. So the bottle of liquor will be upside down, with a spout to dispense the liqour. What is the standard size opening for liqour bottles? For like a rubber stopper
