Hey guys. I brewed Dobblebock kit on sunday. on Saturday morning I made a yeast starter with White Labs German Bock 833. I do not have a stir plate so every time I walked by it I swirled it. I even got my wife to do it for me as I had to work the night shift. The next morning when I came homeI found that it had really bubble/foamed up. It did not over flow though. I wrapped the top of it with foil. So after I brewed the dobblebock I used my wort chiller and brought it down to about 74 degrees. Did my best to aerate it and pitched in the yeast. OG before the pitch was 1.085. my garage maintains about a 49-51 degree temp. Two hours after pitching the yeast it was bubbling in the airlock. I was not expecting it that fast. I just checked on it and its bubbling every 2 seconds.
Am I good so far?
