Hahaha. Must be something about the Pittsburgh atmosphere. Here is my post from the Fantasy Hockey BIF in May:

I wish I read this thread first. Wasn't thinking and decided to open my bottle over my record collection. Most of the bottle got on my ceiling, windows and carpet but a good chunk got onto some of my records. Thank god for protective sleeves, only one was poking out enough to take a direct hit.

Super stoked to find this turding up a shelf in denver for $13. This was my first emerald tome. I got lots of lime and spearmint notes, but i doubt either of those could offer this much pigment. Definitely got greener the deeper i got into the bottle. I wish i had more room in my luggage cause i would have cleaned out the shelf of these. When they're on point, Dany definitely makes the most unique beers on the planet.

Definitely got greener the deeper i got into the bottle. I wish i had more room in my luggage cause i would have cleaned out the shelf of these. When they're on point, Dany definitely makes the most unique beers on the planet.

Yah, I think those finer grain corks started around 00 or so, previous ones were a pain and crumbled a lot.

Crazy ass nose of like.... stale old beer and muddled lemon and sugar and compost with a bitter, sweet and asian pear and orange peel taste.

Or something, **** if I know but this beer *****.

For some reason I always passed by this one and I regret it.

The last batch of blanche that was released a couple years ago was labeled normal blanche but was pamplemousee

you can fit 12x tomes in an etre order. if some of your 750's are heavier lambic bottles you might only get 11

I grabbed a few. This will be my first Blanche experience. This was also a great excuse for me to finally pull the trigger on the Gun Powder Mild Ale.

Stock of blanche got ravaged. In the 30 minutes since I posted here it went from 60 to single digits and now its been bumped back up into the 40's.

Last two 18s that I had were drinking like tart Dubbels. Not quite as much dusty Tome funk poking through, but still enjoyable.

yes i have sended kegs with Blanche in italy , but my Blanche is always ! with pamplemousse .. ( except .. 20 years past )
