Damn, I wish I could have put some money down on the Bears when they were down twenty...

To me, the issue with the conservative play-calling is more about the message Green was sending his team - "DON"T SCREW THIS UP!" instead of "Hell, we can beat these guys!" Again, even up twenty, the Cards clearly had no confidence in themselves.

When the defense keeps picking up turnovers and scoring touchdowns, I'd get pretty ****ing conservative and wait for the easy fg.

I think the Cards played fine, but a few freaky turnovers and a botched FG, and you get another L.

Oh, and I wasn't talking about the end of the game, per se. The Cards opened the game very strongly, but got away from where they were having success before it was even halftime. You KNEW they were going to need probably twenty-eight or thiry points to win, given how explosive the Bears offense has been (even though all the Bears' points basically came from D/special teams). Twenty points wasn't going to cut it.

FU@##$%#$ Bears. Not only did they tear it up with all their defensive TD's, but in the other league I'm in, I've got Grossman as QB, Berrian at WR and the kicker, whatever his name is. So the Bears screwed up both games for me. Grossman got a nice -5 pts for Scrotum Puppies #1. THANKS BEARS! <dip****s>

Hey, stupid question on how our league works, using Arizona's D as a perfect example...

Arizona only gave up what, one field goal? Chicago had two defensive touchdowns and one special teams touchdown. If someone were to have been starting Arizona's defense, would they...

A. Get 7 points for giving up only three points (plus more points for the turnovers they caused), or

B. Get zero points because Chicago scored 24?

Does the system recognize the difference between offensive and defensive touchdowns when awarding points to defenses?

Just a friendly reminder...if you guys haven't voted against that trade for me and walker, please VOTE AGAINST for me, again? For some reason it is still pending.

Thanks.

Can I just ask - what the f*ck was Town Drunks doing, putting Mark Bulger out on waivers? He's the third-highest ranked player this season, he has like 90 points, he's only thrown one pick all year. He cut Bulger, but kept Vince Young (who is also out on bye this week).

I'm not going to complain too loud, I put in a waiver claim, but seriously - what the f*ck? I mean, sh~t, you could at least frickin' try and work a trade if you want to start Grossman and Young all year.

Dude - you have your pet peeve, deadbeat teams. Well, this is pretty frickin' annoying, too.

We just held a press conference welcoming Bulger to the Loose Cannons. Does anyone have an interest in Tom Brady?

I do!!

What are you looking for in trade?

You ******* traitor...

Just see how well Bulger does when it starts getting a little chilly and he has to play outdoors...

(SEETHING with jealousy :D)

Alright, if Town Drunks finishes in last place, in part because they STUPIDLY put one of the best QBs in the league out on waivers, I am *NOT* sending them their ****y-prize homebrew.

Although, with Scrotum Puppys' performance, that shouldn't be an issue...

just about half time (at least that's the case in the Bengals/Panthers game I'm wathcing.)

hey, bird.... where's all your smack talking today?

Holy crap, man. NOTHING happening today. I'm sitting here in my shame...

OH well, P-funk, you can be alone in first place for a week... I'll still take Pats 38, Bengals 13 over a fantasy football loss.. :D

Man, I may not crack double-digits this week. I've about had it with Pittsburg's D. I should have known not to trust them when they signed Chad Frickin' Brown to play linebacker.

Oh, man. I'll need a big day from Vanderjerk tomorrow. Or..... if I lose, I'll be one step closer to last place AND free homebrew....

You're welcome. I actually had first dibs on him but made him second priority cuz I already have a QB and needed a RB. I was hoping no one else saw that & I could snag both. Wishful thinking, but I got a better RB than I had anyway. Why does anyone put Bulger on Waivers??????

So, how many people put a claim in on Bulger? I did, even though I have an OK QB (I'd start Bulger over Hasselback any day of the week, though).

What really, REALLY didn't make sense is Town Drunks had ANOTHER QB on bye this week they could have cut, if they REALLY needed to free up the roster space. Do I really need to run a poll to figure out what percentage of people would keep Bulger over Vince Young?

I don't know, pet peeve. If the dude actually posted in this thread (if you're lurking, c'mon and post, we don't bite), he could have traded for a good RB or WR or ANYTHING for Bulger. Putting him on waivers was just stupid.
