Extremely new guy in NY

Hey all, Brian from Huntington NY here. Looking to learn about brewing and start making some delicious libations (and likely some awful stuff while I learn, lol)! I don't really know anything about brewing yet, but I'm working on getting stuff together and learning. I have a few friends local who brew their own stuff, so they should be able to help me along the way.

Also, I recently finished a project for when I'm camping. I wanted to bring a keg with me for the week, so I built a campsite kegerator. Basically I built an insulated wooden box to house a plastic 55 gallon drum holding an iced keg, and ran a small draft system with a 5lb tank and a tower on top for the faucet. Took me the better part of 2 weeks. Collapses down pretty well, except for the drum which houses my camping gear when transporting. LMK what you think!
