So in my boredom over the last week I've more or less poured all the dregs of the beers I've been drinking into a small 1.020 starter. It's been a couple pipeworks IPAs, a Marz Brewing Boogie Nights, a Patsy peach IPA, and some little big hop.
Minus the dark wheat beer I figure the yeast is all probably the same but it's been a long week and I was curious as to what I could grow. It's fermented out into a nice cake and I'm gonna step it up now to a 1000ml starter
However, I am stuck on an easy recipe to showcase the characteristics of the yeast. I was figuring a simple smash would be best but I am up for any suggestions. I don't want to go through the hassle of making a complex beer for yeast that could either be bad or suck. So I'm open to any and all suggestions
