Hey guys, anyone know of a good extract NE IPA recipe? Can have specialty grains.. I've seen some all-grain recipes and the final products looked delicious, hoping to find an extract recipe that's just as good! :mug:

If you are going to use flaked wheat or oats, you'll have to do a partial mash with some 2-row or whatever.

I imagine you could pull something off with just pale and wheat extract though.

I recently brewed the "Beerie Smalls" from Northern Brewer. It had flaked oats and turned out great, at least from 2-4 weeks into bottles. It's been about 6 weeks now and I'm thinking some bottling oxidation may have taken over, there's a little hop bitterness but none of the aroma/taste that was there a few weeks back.
The kit was a gift but normally I'd avoid purchasing from NB as they're AB-InBev owned. I've seen a few diff ne IPA kits around though and they all sound great. I guess the biggest downside I'd see is cost, quite pricey with all those hops, and massive trub.
