Hi kboss, my first batch is now bottle conditioning and I'm actually thinking of making an oatmeal stout too. I just got Brewing Classic Styles today in the mail and there's some good stout extract recipes in there. The oatmeal stout recipe is 7 gallons but can be scaled down:
6.8 lbs English Pale Ale LME
1 lb flaked oats
0.75 lb chocolate malt (350L)
0.75 lb Victory Malt (28L)
0.5 lb crystal malt (80L)
0.5 lb black roasted barley (500L)
1.8 oz Kent Goldings 5% AA 60 min
White Labs WLP002 English Ale yeast or Fermentis Safale S-04 (2 packets if liquid yeast)
