Well, I did end up brewing last weekend hoping to correct this problem. Ran into a mess of other problems lol, i think i am getting worse at brewing every batch. I wanted to mash at 152, but came in at 160, got it down to about 155 with ice as quick as I could. Then was looking at the wrong recipe and mashed out 5 degrees lower than i wanted, so effeciency suffered and my OG was a little low. Also had a very very slow sparge, which i later found out my manifold came apart and was clogging very nice.
After all of that, i finally got back on track, did first wort hop additions with my bittering hop and the rest at 5 min. (did an IPA this time). We will see what happens :) :mug:
