I have the EBC III and love it. I had no desire to take time to learn how to build my own panel, I have enough hobbies, so this was a great option for me. Dave at High Gravity is great to work with and the panel is well built. If you have any specific questions that don't pertain to the dual element functionality (mine will only control 1 at a time), I'd be happy to help.

Hey Montana, does it work to keep the HLT temp close to your mash temp so the pump will run pretty much the whole time? In the video I saw he had the HLT tank at about 180 and was mashing at 150. The pump would only turn on until the temp was stable at 150 in the mash tun. If I did it that way about how many times do you think the pump would run?

I just bought the EBC III and I am still waiting for it to arrive. Pretty excited to have a electric setup now. :mug:

I'm really wanting to do a HERMS setup with this controller. My biggest question with it i guess would be during mashing. Would i just be able to adjust the HLT temp and the Mash tun PID would just be for me to moniter temps? or would there be a way to make them work together?
