Earl Grey black tea

Can I use it for Kombucha? I'm in remote Mexico and ran out of organic black tea. All I have is Earl Grey.

Short answer is yes. I have been using the bulk tea from Woodmans in Wi. for about 2 years and my scobys are awesome and so is my tea. My latest try is Summer Peach and am on my 4 ferment with very healthy looking scobys.
