Is has been a week and a half and few signs of bottle activity. Have opened 4 different bottles (some from the beginning, middle, and end of bottling) and the taste seems sweet with little or no pfft sound when the cap is opened. There is also sediment suspended near or sitting at the bottom of some bottles. I know it typically takes longer than a week but bottles seem inconsistent and I'm concerned about the look of the beer though the color seems right of not cloudy toward the bottom.

Has my impatience gotten the best of me or do I have a dud batch on my hands?

Thanks for any guidance or insight.

Is this a "big" beer? Higher-ABV brews take a while to carbonate as well as condition.
