I know there are a ton of threads on this but with safety being my primary concern and me not being an electrician, some validation on how I am planning this electric setup would be nice.

So, I am looking at purchasing the Unibrau V3 240V 5500w system. According to their website this only requires one 240V/30A outlet. I would be setting this up in the garage right next to my dryer which is plugged into a 10-30R outlet. In order to install GFCI I need to do one of the following: 1. install a GFCI breaker (my dryer would still have to run on this breaker and I hear the older models will trip it constantly) 2. spa panel 3. in-line gfci. I am leaning towards the in-line GFCI since it will be the easiest despite being the priciest.

In-Line GFCI setup plan:

In-Line GFCI:

Plug for one end of in-line GFCI (cut off the supplied L6-30 plug and replace)

*Could I replace my 10-30R with a L6-30R instead? I would then have to change my dryer plug so maybe its all about the same?

Plug for Unibrau:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00002NARX/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

Basically Unibrau -> In-Line GFCI via L6-30 plug/receptacle -> In-line GFCI 10-30P plug -> Dryer Outlet (10-30R).

This seems to make sense in my head but maybe its incompatible or out of code or something which is why I am posting. The next route would be spa panel.

I appreciate the help!
