Dry Ice Carbonation

I'm wondering whether anyone has done carbonation with dry ice. I have carbonated other beverages with it before, and there might be some time when using dry ice might be beneficial... Priming should be cheaper, of course, but it's always nice to have an alternative if something weird happens.

If this topic has been discussed before, I searched.

Generally a bad idea due to lack of control of getting the proper amount into the bottle and may be dangerous (bottle bombs)
