I just kegged an Amarillo IPA dry hopped with Warrior (I know what you're thinking, but wanted to try it...). Dropped an ounce of the Warrior whole hops in for the last 10 days of primary. Everything was all good, the hops soaked but stayed floating which was kind of a PITA when racking to keg.

Sooo, my question: Will pellets used for dry hopping give the same effect, but sink and be less of a PITA during racking?

BTW, the beer turned out great! :ban:

whole leaf will absorb more beer IME

whole leaf is easier to rack from underneath the floating mass, I use a paint strainer bag on the end of the auto-siphon when racking with pellets used for dry hopping
