So for those who have gone through the process of building your own, I’m curious about the dimensions. What diameter pipe did you use and why? Running beer line and a cooling line up from the fridge needs extra space for expansion in the future? or is there a flow issue I’m not aware of? The liquid line doesn’t seem to take up much room - more space to keep cool seems like a negative?

Most common towers seem to be 2 or 3 inches - is there a reason it can’t be done at 1.5?

Thanks in advance!

To deal with foaming issues, people use insulation, copper pipes or and a cooling line. All of which requires more space than just 1.5 inches.
I personally gave myself the room to grow additional taps.
