DPDT Power relay

I'm looking to build and electric system. Been doing some research and found I need a DPDT relay for some system. I looked at pricing them and I found 2 different styles. What is the difference between these two?

Looks like one is open design and one is closed design, I'd go with the closed.

But I was wondering if there are any mechanical differences or why one would be used instead of the other.

The second one probably comes with a cover. I bought these for my relays: https://www.pioneerbreaker.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=PBC-RE-GP-DPDT-120V They come with a cover that screws down over the contacts and encases it.

Relays come in several styles depending on the application. The first one can plug into a socket and the other is flush mounted on a backing plate. I purchased the same one as bbognerks last night from Pioneer Breaker.
