So i posted yesterday that I brewed my first batch.

15 hours later, I go downstairs in the basement bedroom I have it (temp is lower there, mid 60s) and I can hear the bubbles before I even open the door, and then I sit down and can smell the fruity smell of the beer escaping the air lock.

I was counting a bubble every 3-4 seconds Not sure that is good or not, but I guess it means there is something good going on in there

It's working!

I will be 'that guy' and remind you that the absence of airlock activity doesn't always mean that fermentation isn't occurring.

The smell is awesome though. Wait til you dry hop. It (the aroma) is off the chain!

Yeast do what they want at this point. You got action so your good. Even when the bubbling stops the yeast are still working so either take gravity readings to make sure they are 100% done prior to transfer or you can just let the wort/beer sit on the yeast 21-28 days like some of us do.
