I went to Home Depot earlier today and got 20' of 3/8" copper tubing, 10' of 3/8" vinyl tubing, a hose adapter, and 3 hose clamps. Ended up costing me $30. Assembly took all of 20 minutes. I just used a paint can to wrap the tubing around. I think I will compress the coil a bit when I actually go to use it because I only boil about 3 gallons at a time so the wort isn't all the way to the top of the pot.

Looks good. I did the same thing and it works great. I can cool 6 gallons of wort in 15-20 minutes

My only critique would be to bend the ends of the copper line down just in case you leak at the connection to the vinyl tubing. I would hate to have tap water dribble down into the pot after all the work of brewing.
