Has anyone tried cutting/punching your own Gaskets for Grolsch or other Flip top bottles? I recently obtained 60 or so grolsch bottles that haven't been used in about 6 years, and the gaskets were all hard. meanwhile my current hoard of Grolsch and Boxer bottles could also use a new set.
I know I could just Buy some and have it done with. But I have access to sheets of any gasket material I could think of at decent prices. and I'm on a DIY kick...
How would I how about Creating these little red rings?
I'm thinking about trying a leather punch set, or making some small "cookie cutter' style rings out of sheet metal, and then pressing them into the gasket..
Any tips or ideas would be appreciated.
