I was curious if it would be alright to dispense my draft beer into a couple of 12 oz bottles? drinking them more than likely same day. Would the bottles be able to handle the pressure? What would happen if i left it in the bottle for a few days? Would it go flat?.. Would love to here some responses to this.

Depends on the foam level. Ever filled a growler before? same concept. I've put a half empty growler back in the fridge overnight and it was still carbed pretty good the next day.

I do this pretty often with no issue. I turn off the gas, release the keg pressure, then put the gas back on at about 3-5 psi. Pour half a glass to catch any foam then fill your bottles and cap.

Yes you can, just like filling a growler as mentioned but you want to use a piece of tubing that will reach to the bottom of the bottle and fill from the bottom up to reduce the foaming issue. As long as you consume it in a day or two it should be fine. Any longer and you need to use a counter pressure filler or beer gun set up.

I despise bottling. Lazy I guess. So I keg everything. When I do want a few bottles lying around I fit a standard racking cane into a party tap and slide a small drilled stopper onto the cane. I then insert it into the bottle and burp the stopper as the beer stops flowing. Think beer gun. Cap as normal. I have some gueze and Trappist style that have been around for quite some time. They retained carbonation. As long as fermentation is complete don't worry about bottle bombs.

I do the same thing but use a straight bottling wand tube, without the spring valve attachment. A very short piece of tubing (2-3") between the picnic tap and the wand/stick makes it easy to control flow.

Make sure the keg is very cold when filling the bottles. Helps to retain more dissolved CO2 and prevents excessive foaming when filling.
