I saw a youtube video where someone took a pint of pale ale and using a stainless teaball added a single hop pellet to the pint and then drank it after letting it sit for a minute or two and agitating the teaball. I have a crappy beer that has a weird twang at the end of the taste. I'm thinking about grabbing a teaball and trying it out. Anyone ever done something like this and have any insights pro or con? I imagine people who keg get essentially the same or similar effect from dry hopping in the keg.

I've seen the same video and I'd do it to save a decent beer but I think it's likely hit or miss. I've saved 2 kegged beers that were less than mediocre by hopping with 1-2 oz of hops. Made a huge difference.
I've also tried a Randall I got from Dogfish Head years ago that works 'ok'.
Finally, I don't know what it's called but I've seen hop drops that I think are extract that some have used. It seems like it's pretty much the same as flavor drops though I have no idea how much is needed.
