I just brewed an extract batch using Wheat LME. It has 3oz of Waimea hops (60min, 10min, end of boil). Will dry hop another oz.
I meant to throw in a pound of Golden DME with 15 minutes left, but sort of confused myself and threw it in with 45 minutes left instead. I'm not too worried about it -- I'll still get a yummy beer.
But it did make me think, what will be the difference? Can anybody explain how DME addition timing affects your boil?
