Did your Brew Belt quit on you too?

I was just wondering if anyone else experienced a relatively short shelf life (2 months) with their Brewbelt? Mine is no longer working. I am hoping the one I had was just defective, and not a systemic problem with the product.

I had one that lasted less than a year. Now I have 3 cheap heating pads (about $12 each) that are all 6 -8 years old.
