I am almost certainly worrying about nothing.. but..
I just bottled my first batch. I racked the beer into my bottling bucket and then realized I had forgotten to add the priming sugar first. So, I boiled a cup of water, added the priming sugar and then added it. Gave it a couple of stirs with the racking cane and waited a few minutes, then bottled.
My concern was that the sugar would not have mixed well enough and I would have some bottles over carbonated and some not at all.
All in all bottling it went much better than I expected and the beer tasted pretty good before I bottled it, so assuming it carbs well I think I will be pretty happy.
I'm being paranoid right?
