A coupple of days ago i bought my very first homebrew kit, following the detailed instructions to the end. After setting it to ferment i noticed after 2 days there was no sign of fermentation what so ever, so i tried to build a starter and the only thing i had laying around that could resemble yeast was some turbo yeast, so i took about 1/2 a teaspoon with Turbo Yeast mixed it with some water about 20C degrees and 1/2 spoon of sugar to make a kickstarter.

Now i can se that the beer has begun to ferment (not as vigurously as i would have thought tho)

And now i read on some forums and google searches that Turbo Yeasts makes the beer taste awfull.

If i ruined my first batch, is it anyway to save it now or should i just pour it all out and buy a new kit hoping that will work?

If it was mine, I would let it go for three or four weeks in the fermenter, bottle it up, let it sit another three weeks and then decide if it's good. Chances are very good that you'll have a fine beer, and if not, you will have at least have gone through the entire process and learned from it.

thanks for the answer, ill try to do just that =) (maybe it wont endup so bad afterall)
