This will show some noobishness on my part. But I recently brewed an all grain pumpkin ale and I hit 12 points under my expected og of 1.052 at an even 1.040. Kinda looks like lhbs didn't mill the all grains even though I thought they did, my fault not theirs I have a grain mill and should have run it through again. I thought I would be okay with it, but 3.8 percent pumpkin beer is a no go for me. My question is can I add an amount of dextrose, dme, or just some heavy wort to my primary to bump it up? It's in a 6.5 gallon fermenter and I only got about 4.75 gallons in there from this batch. It's only a $20 kit but I'm aiming for time more than money. Restart or add sugars and give it a go?
