Upon reassembling the kegs that came in my Keg Connection kit, I noticed that one of the gas posts has a dent on the top outer rim (sealing surface). Is this OK to use, or do I need to buy a replacement gas post?

If it doesnt leak, I wouldnt touch it. Spray soapy water on the connection and look for bubbles. If it leaks, there goes all your co2. Even worse, if you have a carb stone attached to the co2, there goes all your beer after the co2.

The seal is the o-ring, so no problem. I've got a couple with chips out the the rim, but they don't leak.

I was able to pound it back into shape with a hammer and punch. Should be GTG now.
