I typically buy 1 or 2 Oz packages of Hops. I found how to read "packaging codes" on BSG Brand (posted below) and Yakima Chief Hops puts best by dates on theirs. I cannot find anything on Artisan Brand Hops and was wondering if anyone knows how to tell from their numbers on the packs. It would help to use the older Hops first.

I've only bought a few pounds from Artisan and don't really think I can decipher their package codes.
The pound of Cluster pellets I bought this winter has a "Batch Code" of 58348 which means bupkiss to me.

Artisan is owned by Morebeer and can be found under morebeerpro.com.
You could shoot them an email question on how to read their codes at [email protected]

Cheers!

Here’s a good reference chart I found showing the Hops stability. Just click in any Hop for statistics
