I have heard rumor that a new LHBS maybe opening in the McKinney/Frisco area. I'm curious what the interest in another LHBS in the Dallas area is. So, Dallas folks, what are your thoughts?

It would be way, way too far away from me, so I would be unlikely to go. I would drive past three of the four existing shops in DFW just to get to it.

I think a shop up there would have a tough time competing against HBHQ and whatever that shop is in Carrollton.

It would be closer to me than HBHQ in Richardson. I would definitely go if the products and service were comparable to HBHQ. I hope they have co2 refills.

I dislike heading to Dallas, so I'd probably never go.

I really, really wish there was a LHBS in the NRH/Keller/Southlake area of Fort Worth. That is kind of my dream to be honest, open one in Southlake/Keller area. I really dislike The Wine Makers Shop in Fort Worth, so I buy stuff online unfortunately.

There are 2 in the Dallas area. Homebrew Headquarters in Richardson is a good shop and Wine Makers Toystore in Carrollton is a good shop. I tend to buy from WMTS since it's on my way home from work. I guess it depends on where you live as to which one you would prefer. I would defintely shop at one in the McKinney/Frisco area. I hope the rumors I heard are true.

Agreed, Fort Worth Homebrew isn't terrible, but their prices are high and they are really far away from Keller.

I've thought about opening up a shop in this area as well. I just have no idea what kind of market there would be for it.

Start it up and give me a job! :tank:
