I was happily surprised to find out the other day that my local has just got in 22 cases of American craft beer, (I'm in the UK) and sadly when they're gone they're gone. Apart from the obvious move of working my way through all the beers (and raping my wallet in the process) I was wondering if any of you guys could recommend must try beers from the list I've got, i may never see these beers ever again!

Here's what they have...

Arcadia Ales:
IPA
Sky High Rye

Uncommon Brewers:
Siamese Twins Ale

Four + (Uinta):
Wyld Organic Extra Pale Ale

Moylan's Brewing Co:
Chelsea Porter
Kilt Lifter Scotch Ale

Big Sky Brewing Co:
Trout Slayer Wheat
Summer Honey
Moose Drool Brown Ale
Big Sky IPA

Stone:
Smoked Porter
Self-Righteous Ale

Butternuts:
Porkslap Pale Ale
Moo Thunder Stout

Uinta:
Anglers Pale Ale
XVII Anniversary Barley Wine

Tommyknocker:
Imperial Nut Brown Ale
Maple Nut Brown Ale
Jack Whacker Wheat Ale
Alpine Glacier Lager
Ornery Amber Lager
Butthead Dopplebock

Wassail!

Uncommon Siamese Twin is a neat beer. I'd try that. I really like Stone Smoked Porter and it probably traveled well. Big Sky Moose Drool is pretty good. I can't speak for anything else on there, really.

Had a Siamese Twin last night. It's... neat... smells awesome, but goes a little wonky through the middle.

+1 on Moose Drool.

Moylan's Kilt Lifter is solid.

Smoked Porter is my second-least-favorite Stone beer (behind Cali-Belgique).:p

I will vouch for either one of the Arcadia Ales.
I had a very nice cask conditioned English EPA that was very well done with Fuggles when I was there in Battle Creek on a brew tour.

Haven't had too many of these, but I'd definitely recommend the Moose Drool, the Self-Righteous, and the Smoked Porter (which, even if you don't end up liking, is still worth trying, since it's pretty interesting). Kilt Lifter is decent but not great IMO.

Seems like it'd be fun to just try whatever catches your eye.

I would say the same thing as Palefire, I haven't had a lot of those but I did like the Moose Drool and the Self-Righteous. Actually, I usually like just about anything from Stone.

I was disappointed with the Kilt Lifter. Stone and moose drool as everyone else has already stated, although I personally did not like their smoked porter.

I've liked pretty much everything from Tommyknocker. I haven't had their Dopplebock. Their pale ale is one of my favorites, but sadly, it's not on your list. Their Alpine Glacier is really good and is my second favorite brew from them. The maple nut brown is also really good, but I can't have more than one in a sitting.

Skip the Butternuts completely.

I picked up a sixer of Pork Slap after having the "no good beer come in cans" discussion with my wife. It wasn't the greatest, but it was a decent example of non-swill coming from a can. (Get it, "swill"?)

I found it refreshing and worth going out on a limb for cans.

Though, in the OP's shoes, I might skip it as well since he's likely working with a limited selection. It's not really a stand-out pale ale.

Stone and Moose Drool are perpetual favorites around here I think. And Arcadia is a somewhat local beer for me, so I have to recommend it. They are actually very good examples of their style IMO. I think they are most like an American IPA type beer. I know it won't help you out, but they have a couple of very nice beers on tap at the brewpub.
