Cosmetic Question

Hey everybody, i'm building my new kegerator right now and i've been toiling with where to mount my ranco temp controller... Since i am not using a collar, it isn't as easy as screw into the side...

Right now the two main ideas i have are, epoxy a piece of wood (stained or painted) to the side and mount it there... The other option was to mount it so the top half with the controlls is on top of the lid and the back end with the wires is mounted inside of the lid....

Any thoughts?

I keep my controller on the outside with the probe dangling inside.

Calibrating the setting is easier than if the lid/door is opening and closing.

Yeah, sorry for not being more specific, it's the ranco, so the idea is that the top part with all the controls would be on the top back left or right of the tower, but all the wiring would be inside the lid...
