Corny keg storage question

If I want to store my brew carbinated in a corny keg, how do I keep it from shooting out of the liquid out post?

Nothing will come out of the keg unless the post is engaged by a quick disconnect. You can leave it and nothing will happen.

Does your liquid post not have a poppet?

It does, but I had my co2 line attached and nothing on my liquid post and got a gusher.

Did it gush from the top of the post or from the bottom?

Then your poppet failed, and should be replaced. Depending on why it failed, it might be possible to fix it by tweaking the feet with needle nose pliers, but usually when they fail, they keep failing.
