Is there a preffered corn to grow for beer making? Just curious I was thinking about growing extra next year, and also growing barley and malting it just for fun. I have about 3 acres to fool around with for beer.

Thanks,
Ben

I think anything you'd eat would be fine, but understand you'll have to let it dry, much like feed corn farmers do. You want the moisture to be pretty low, then you'd want to flake it, ideally.

A high-starch corn used for meal is probably your best bet.
