Hey All,
I brewed up a Coopers Real Ale before Christmas with the following ingredients.
1 Can Coopers Real ale tin
1 Can of Light Liquid Malt extract 1.5kg
500g of Light dry malt extract
100g honey
75 g Crystal 60, steeped for 30 minutes.
12g Target hops boiled for 5 minutes and left in the fermenter.
7 weeks now in the bottle and i have to say this is one of my favourite beers i have brewed, Lovely malty taste with a nice dab of hops in the mix but not over prominent in my opinion. It has a really nice mouthfeel with a nice level of carbonation also.
Came in about 5.5% alcohol. Ill definitely be brewing this again.
Has anyone tinkered with this Kit and how did the results turn out?
