According to the direction I can use 500g light dry malt extract and 300g corn sugar. I have about 1.5kg of light malt extract and I also have corn sugar. I am wondering what people on the forum would recommend the amounts of malt extract vs. corn sugar I should use?

Is it 300g sugar OR 500g extract, or AND?

No matter what, I'd go all extract, no sugar, and I'd use roughly the amounts recommended. You could just add all the extract (and sugar too) but that would lessen the relative amounts of hops and stout-ness.

So maybe just add 500g or 800-1000g of DME, depending on the answer to my first question.
