Cooler mash tuns

Silly question but I'm new to my igloo cooler mash tun. How do I get grains out that are caught between the bottom and false bottom? I assume the false bottom can be removed? Thank you.

i just blast it with my hose while i'm holding it slightly upside down.. i use a pvc manifold with slits
