Cooking bags for boil?

Doubt that would work for one reason. The bottom of the pot reaches a temperature of well over 325 degrees. A few minutes into your boil, and I'm betting the bag would melt to the bottom of the pan and contaminate the water/pot.
 
I've had nylon hop bags burn to the bottom of my kettle. That's much more than 350F.
 
If you cook enough beer? Upgrading your inferior brew kettle would be the way to go! Don't try to polish a terd:D
